Hey dancing girl with lotus-lips, carry on with the tango that you had left unfinished
Sway through the earth-scape once cherished, across errors and the angles that are blemished
Dance like the childhood that is gone behind, defying the sculptor and that history and mankind
Your supple curves like waves untamed and blind, hair floating and your dove-eyes wild yet kind
Geometrical frame; dangling bracelets; rippling energy on the forehead as sweats; desperation or disobedience – your hands on the waist,
Those passionate feet in motionless symphony
Decorating the cabinet-shelf, frozen motion, your statue hey dancing girl, is the cruellest irony.

I like your description of the irony of a statue of someone dancing sitting on a cabinet shelf in the last line.
This is beautiful I especially love "Sway through the earth-scape once cherished" , "Your supple curves like waves untamed and blind" and "those passionate feet in motionless symphony"
A very vivid description – so much so that the ironic ending was a surprise. (And because the picture is small, it didn't give the game away too soon.)
The movement in these lines! And that ending...just like the sudden end of a dance, the motion still vibrating in your eyes, the music in your body.
Haunting...
Oh, the irony of a dance who has all the moves but is sentenced to stand immobile on a shelf. I also enjoyed how the story moved to an unpredictable ending.
"Dance like the childhood that is gone behind, defying the sculptor and that history and mankind"
Luv the dare in this paragraph. Dare we have a lookback time soon as we stand motionless on the shelf of this pandemic
Blessed Easter
Much🌼love
It's, indeed, a perfect time to finished all that which we've left unfinished (especially if the doing can be done indoors).
The Passionate Feet catches Me well ..and their Softness, Tenderness and Curves
Ah Me !! Foot Fetish ..Chuckle
The whole poetic nuance has a Surreal Reality. The Scent of a Comely Female Human ..after all Life is woven in Flesh and Blood along the Spirit within.. ..
Delicious in Depictions as the Prosaic Nuances of the Enigmatic Story Teller ,viz Constantine' "Random Descriptions" almost eleven years ago.
