MOONLIGHT AND DREAMZ

Welcome to my world of dreams where imagination and reality, fancy and truth, laughter and tears move hand in hand. I will let you have a glimpse at the share of my own sky, sometimes sunshine bright, and sometimes with rainstorm. I will take you to memories that are like a serene glow of moonlight, a whisper of mountain breeze, and a rushing gushing brook.

    Love ...

    posting for one shot wednesday
    http://onestoppoetry.com/2011/06/one-shot-wednesday-celebrates
posted for promising poets' parking lot
    http://thursdaypoetsrallypoetry.blogspot.com/

'You are a hypocrite, you are false' – says he,
and I wonder where I would keep so much hatred,
for I have already filled every nook and corner
    with honey colored hope!

'Your feelings are soiled mud' – says he,
and I worry what I would do with so much anger,
for I have learnt only to smile
a smile, that has a sunshine hue!

    Last night
it rained behind my closed pane.
    It kept raining
    on the green grass
    on the lively branches
    on blossoming flowers.

    In the morning
    I kindled a sun ray,
cupped the golden morning in my palm
and planted a sapling in the mud.

I decide to nurse and nurture it.

How I have missed your writing!

Your words are like a soft summer
rain on a parched, thirsty garden...yearning, aching for saturation, that life may spring forth abundantly in the midst of your beautiful garden.

Your imagery always amazes me, Moon, and you add such distinct visualization to your poetry...and that, my dear friend, makes it such a pleasure to read.

As in the case of your phrase, "honey colored hope"...

"for I have already filled every nook and corner
    with honey colored hope!"

I can read 'pain' here in smiles in big bold letters....'cupped the golden morning in my palm'...I like the positivity in this thought too...Nice, short, simple, thought in poetic realms..beautiful!

This seems to be a companion piece for your June 15 post "Untitled". Both wonderful and revealing pieces of the strong writer you are. Both decisions well made.

"for I have already filled every nook and corner with honey colored hope! ... cupped the golden morning in my palm"

"when I open the east window
and the honey colored morning fills the room
like tea pouring smoothly into a cup,"

    :-)

    Such a lovely poem.
There is indeed a twinge of sadness, but you manage to combat all the negativity with a positive attitude.
I love "I have already filled every nook and corner with honey colored hope!" and "smile a smile, that has a sunshine hue!"

    Nicely done, Baishali!

Your words are always filled with beauty. They are words to look at ... to view again and again. You are of course right about forgiveness. It is everything.

Wow, what a great message you convey in this poem. I love the way this flows off the tongue: "Last night
it rained behind my closed pane." Inspiring.

Behind the pane it rained. you never think the outside is the behind the norm is to think that we sitting inside are behind the panes. Liked that
