Simply masterful word weaving of beautiful language, inspired by and dedicated to a moment in our histories that will forever shame our race. This, I thought, was simply liquid poetry. Like it was already written before you even had the pen in your hand...loved it and thank you!

Repainting and replanting seem like a hopeful thing to do, tho we are sad at the reason.

Beautiful. I love your approach. Stripping away pretention, just straight forward telling of the verse. Again, beautiful.

your poetry is heartfelt, the kind I like to read the most. This is a poem of sadness, yet strength. Beautiful words.
